The Hotel is quiet andsecluded, but ten minutes' walk from the centre of the city ad excellent shopping areas. The Staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous and helpful, and seemed especially fond of our five- year old daughter. The garden is beautiful and calming - a special feature of this hotel and a lovely place to have breakfast, which was generous and of good quality. We would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.
Everything! The hotel is perfect! Room decoration makes it looks like a fairytale. Attention to details, perfect room service, gentle working people, beautiful place! I loved it! Worth the time in Bologna :D very romantic and dreamy :)
For a three star hotel it was homely and had charm. It was centrally located. The staff were accommodating and helpful at all times. Had it been priced as a three star hotel it would have been great.
We stayed during the week of Linea Pelle fair so the hotel was grossly overpriced for what it was. My suite was dark and cold but when the radiator was turned on - no thermostat meant it was then so hot I was obliged to sleep with all doors/ windows open. No screens meant mosquitoes. We had to request an alternate room for my mother as her single room was a box able to accommodate a twin bed and a chair. The bathroom was like an obstacle course with three floor levels. To get to the lavatory one had to slide sideways past the sink hurdle over the bidet to get to the throne which was elevated on its own platform? For an 82 year old woman with bad eye sight and a double hip replacement it was actually dangerous.
Very helpful staff who were able to recommend restaurants and places to visit during our stay.
It may be a hotel with 3 star facility but offers 6 star services. Nothing is too much trouble for the hotel staff. They bought and installed 2 children bicyle seats for us (free of charge) so our family can explore Bologna on the bicycle together. The warm hospitality makes the stay memorable.
TV has really poor reception and has no English channel.
Staff extremely friendly; nice city garden; breakfast; located in a calm street
Bathroom not perfectly clean (but acceptable anyway)
Everything. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The woman at the desk even helped us park our car on the street so we wouldn't have to pay for parking. The breakast area is delightful and the room are comfortable and attractively decorated. The wireless internet worked great.
The breakfast was lovely; hot and cold meats, pastries, cereals, fruit, nice coffee.
The hotel is lovely, a real treasure hidden away from the city bustle. Our room was beautiful, comfy and spotless clean. Breakfast was also vey varied and good. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're going to Bologna. The staff was also vey friendly and helpful.
Situated close to the city center, car park available, quiet and very romantic. Computer was available for guests purposes.
This is a really lovely hotel in a quiet side street just a short walk from the main piazza in the beautiful city of Bologna.Very welcoming and a delightful brakfast room in the garden-perfect
The personal service given by the owner and his partner, and the ambience, fab breakfast couldn't have asked for more
Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Situated on a quiet side street in walking distance from city center and also easy to reach from the ring road bus. Good breakfast buffet served in a wonderful garden. Nice bathroom. A positive surprise was that wireless internet access in the rooms was actually free of charge!
The room was not that big and a bit dark with only one small window.
We loved this hotel! Extremely friendly and helpful staff (speak great English), nice rooms, great breakfast, beautiful courtyard - even a cat comes to visit. :-) About 10 -15 minutes' walk to Piazza Maggiore, so nice and quiet.
We really liked all the staff members we came in contact with. The breakfast was very good. We would stay there again if we get back to Bologna sometime.
We were driving and found the hotel a bit hard to get to because of the one way streets all around, but after a handful of attempts we made it and then we knew the "code".
